Known to everyone as Ghedo, Kristian was born in Cortina d'Ampezzo, in the heart of the Dolomites, and inherits his passion for skiing from his mother, Cortina’s first ski instructor.
One of the most successful Italian specialists of the 1990s, he reached the podium for the first time in 1989, at the end of the Saslong downhill in Val Gardena. His first wins came shortly after, in his native Cortina and in Åre, Sweden. Kristian is a lover of speed in all its forms, and is also committed to the world of motorsport. He has achieved significant results in the Italian automotive arena, with both touring cars and Formula 3000 single-seaters.
