Biography
Loris “Capirex” Capirossi was born in Borgo Rivola on April 4, 1973, and boasts two 125cc world titles (1990 and 1991), in addition to a 250cc title in 1998, achieving 29 wins, 99 podiums, 41 poles and 32 fastest laps.
He was already riding his mini motorcycle (and doing a bit of homework, if there was time) when he saw his first live race at Imola with his father. His greatest achievement was being the youngest to ever take the world title in 1990. He loves the adrenaline and emotion of racing motorcycles. Today, he works with Dorna on safety, and likes cycling and skiing. He also loves engines of all kinds. He likes mechanics, modding his motorcycles, eating his mother's passatelli pasta in broth, listening to Italian singer Giorgia for relaxation and Queen to get pumped up. He loves Monte Carlo but dreams of taking a trip to Australia.
