Biography

Nicol Delago was born in Bressanone on January 5, 1996, and raised in Selva di Val Gardena, a beautiful village in the heart of the South Tyrolean mountains, where you can’t help but be born with a passion for skiing. She has been active in FIS races since 2011, her debut in the European Cup dates back to 2013 and her debut in the World Cup to 2015, in the downhill in St. Moritz. In December 2018 she stepped onto the podium in the World Cup for the first time, finishing 2nd, again in downhill and on her literal home slope, the Saslong in Val Gardena. Her list of achievements so far includes 5 podiums in the World Cup, 4 in downhill and 1 in Super-G, 2 podiums in the European Cup, 2 bronze medals at the World Junior Championships and 3 gold medals at the Italian Championships in the 2018, ’22 and ’24 seasons, always in the speed disciplines.
