Biography
Very young, born on April 5, 2005 in Murcia, Fermín Aldeguer followed a slightly different path to the world championship than most of his opponents. After competing, and winning, in the MiniGP and PreMoto4 series, in 2020 he took part in the European Moto2 Championship and won the Superstock 600 continental title. The leap to the world championship came the following year, but via MotoE. In 2021 he also made a few appearances in Moto2, before dedicating himself full-time to this category in 2022. He established himself in 2023 with 5 wins, 4 of which consecutive, and 3rd place overall. There were three more successes in 2024, but a number of ‘zeros’ and only 5th place at the end of the championship. 2025 saw the year of his debut in the premier class, inaugurated with a points-scoring position in the Thai Grand Prix.
