EXPERIENCE DETAILS

Seven days and 1,500 km along the most beautiful roads in Italy, discovering the history and culture of our country, with a visit to the prestigious Dainese, Ducati, Ferrari and Lamborghini museums in the heart of the Motor Valley. A five-stage journey aboard the new Ducati Multistrada V2 S and Multistrada V4 S. Departing from Bologna with a ring along the Apennines to the Mugello circuit, where you can watch the MotoGP™ races from the historic Correntaio Ducati Grandstand. We then head north to reach the Alps and cross some of the most famous and iconic mountain passes in the world, such as Pordoi and Stelvio. In total there are 33 passes to tackle, with heights varying between 315 and 2,779 m, on paved surfaces of all kinds.

Fifteen hundred kilometers enclosed in a 200x300 km rectangle: to the south an Apennine ring, in the middle two crossings through the countryside of the Po Valley (there and back), and to the north a succession of Alpine passes, thirteen of which are over 2,000 m. We will have the best motorcycles for traveling and having fun in the mountains, namely the Ducati Multistrada V2 S and V4 S, and we will begin the tour right on the roads where they were developed (Passo della Raticosa and Passo della Futa). The first days will be in the heart of the Motor Valley, dedicated to motoring culture, with visits to the Ducati, Ferrari and Lamborghini museums. Then, the climb back up to discover the treasures of the DAR, the Dainese historical archive, where, in addition to all the innovations and projects that have marked progress in the field of safety, sports performance and design, there are also the suits of the champions who have written the history of motorcycling, from the 1970s to the present day.

The change in landscape will be radical, from the soft curves of the Apennine mountains, furrowed here and there by gullies, to the cathedral-like appearance of the Dolomites, and then moving on to the glaciers of Stelvio. The scenic wonders will be accompanied by a succession of gastronomic specialties, such as tagliatelle from Bologna, canederli from Cortina, pizzoccheri from Valtellina, carne salada from Riva del Garda, risotto with Amarone from Verona, and pumpkin tortelli from Mantua. The Apennine ring will have its turning point at the Mugello racetrack, one of the most spectacular in MotoGP™. Here we will be able to watch the MotoGP™ race from the Ducati Grandstand. The second stage will pass by the Dainese Headquarters and, shortly before arriving in Cortina d’Ampezzo, considered the pearl of the Dolomites and the site of the forthcoming 2026 Olympics, we will cross three passes, including what could be considered the most romantic of the entire tour, the Giau, especially at sunset. The third stage winds through the most beautiful mountains in the world, the Dolomites – it’s the “Festival of the Dolomites”, with 10 passes, each more spectacular than the last, while the fourth stage is characterized by its great heights, with another 10 passes. With the fifth we return to Bologna and visit two beautiful cities of the plain, Verona and Mantua, but here too there will be no shortage of mountain roads. Departure and arrival at Ducati’s home in Borgo Panigale.

Climate

The potential is for an extreme trip, as June could bring 30 °C heatwaves in Bologna, as well as 0 °C snowfall on Stelvio. This makes Italy a unique country. You need the right clothing for a trip like this – a suit with plenty of air vents and a removable thermal layer.

Each participant will have at their disposal the new Ducati Multistrada V2 S and Multistrada V4 S MY2025, equipped with Pirelli Scorpion Trail 3 tires, ideal for safely tackling the dozens of Alpine passes.
