DAINESE RIDING MASTERS

Dainese Riding Masters courses provide riders of all experience levels with the tools to safely have fun and express their full potential, with the help of qualified instructors and World Champions.

DAINESE SAFETY CLASS

The Dainese Safety Class teaches safe riding and is split into two levels. The first level is meant for beginners so that they can start riding a motorcycle; the second level is recommended for more experienced riders who want to acquire the correct riding techniques and master their bike no matter what the conditions.

SAFETY
CLASS 1

This course is meant for those who have no experience and want to begin safely experiencing the thrill of a motorcycle. The course will take place in the paddock of the track and consists of five practical sessions taught on an individual basis, alternated with theoretical sessions taught by a trained instructor.

TARGET

Recommended for anyone who has never ridden a motorcycle with gears. Minimum age: 14.
A-category licence not required.

OBJECTIVES

To teach the basic rules of riding a motorcycle with gears and to understand the importance of using certified technical clothing. The course is also useful for those who are preparing to take the Italian ‘patente A’ license test.

AGENDA

  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m.).
  • Five practical sessions on the motorcycle (practice engaging, changing gears/downshifting, use of gas/brake, setting up the braking section, taking corners and slaloms) in the reserved areas of the track (paddocks), alternated with theoretical sessions.
  • Certificates of participation provided at the end.

PARTICIPANTS

Max. 6 participants in the morning and 6 in the afternoon.

DURATION

Half day (9.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. or 2 – 5 p.m.)

MOTORCYCLES

Supplied by Dainese (for the duration of the course only), included in the price (Yamaha YBR 125/250cc).

INCLUDED IN THE COURSE

Lunch at restaurant, certificate of attendance, photo shoot, certified technical clothing (helmet, jacket, trousers, gloves, technical shoes and knee guards).

SAFETY
CLASS 2

This course is meant for more experienced riders who want to perfect their riding technique. The objective is for students to improve their level of control on their motorcycle and to teach greater road safety. The course consists of an introductory theoretical lesson, six individual practical sessions in the paddock, and a final 20-minute session around a designated circuit on the track.

TARGET

Recommended for newly licensed riders with little experience, as well as more seasoned riders with multiple years of experience.
An A1/A2/A-category licence is required.

OBJECTIVES

To improve your knowledge and master your bike, safely handling all unexpected events and dangerous situations that might arise during road riding. To understand the importance of using suitable certified technical clothing.

AGENDA

  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m.)
  • Introductory theoretical session, 30 minutes.
  • Six practical sessions conducted on the motorcycles in the paddock, alternated with theoretical sessions. There will be a series of exercises focused on increasing students’ mastery of their bikes in the following situations: an emergency stop regardless of the conditions, slow and fast slaloms, taking corners, and avoiding an unexpected obstacle.
  • A final 20-minute session takes place on a dedicated circuit within the track to consolidate the techniques that have been learnt in the exercises during the day.
  • Certificates of participation provided at the end.

PARTICIPANTS

Groups of 7 will be formed based on the individual skills. Each group will have the support of one qualified instructor with plenty of experience.

DURATION

Whole day (from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

MOTORCYCLES

Students must use their own motorcycles.

INCLUDED IN THE COURSE

Lunch at restaurant, certificate of attendance, photo shoot.

REQUIRED CLOTHING

Full-face or modular helmet, leather or Cordura jacket and pants with built-in protectors, back protector, boots or motorcycle shoes (high-top to cover the ankles), leather or Cordura gloves. DAINESE RACING CLASS

The Dainese Racing Class is a riding course split into two levels: Racing Class 1 is meant for those who want to try the track out for the first time and for those who do not have much track experience yet. Racing Class 2 is meant for more experienced riders who want to learn the correct track riding techniques, improve their style, and have more control of their bike, on the road as well.

RACING
CLASS 1

Dainese Racing Class 1 is recommended for those with little to no experience on the track who want to learn safe track riding with the supervision of a qualified instructor.

The course consists of an introductory theoretical session and four practical sessions on the track, alternated with lessons on correct riding techniques. The course is structured to offer participants basic knowledge that will increase their level of safety on the track and in competitive road riding.

TARGET

Recommended for riders with solid experience on the bike, but who have never been on the track or have little track experience. Groups will be formed based on the individual skills.
An A1/A2/A-category licence is required, and a Misano lap time (in the case of previous experience) of more than 2:05.

OBJECTIVES

To learn the basic principles of track riding in order to improve the feeling of riding and mastery of the bike. To acquire the correct riding position, body movements, and trajectories while learning how to brake, which differs from road riding. To begin to recognize your bike's limits in a safe and appropriate setting.

  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m.)
  • Introductory theoretical session, 30 minutes.
  • Four 20-minute track sessions alternated with theoretical sessions on the technical principles of riding with feedback from the instructor based on the videos taken during the session.
  • Certificates of participation provided at the end.

PARTICIPANTS

Groups of four will be formed based on participants’ skills. Each group will have the support of one qualified instructor with plenty of experience.

DURATION

Whole day (from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

MOTORCYCLES

CLASS 2

Dainese Racing Class 2 is meant for more experienced riders who want to perfect their riding technique on the track in order to improve their style, their control of the bike, their speed around corners, and braking.

The course consists of an introductory theoretical session and five practical sessions, alternated with lessons on correct riding techniques.

TARGET

For riders with solid experience on the track. Groups will be formed based on the individual skills.
An A-category licence is required (without power limits), and a Misano lap time of 1:55 to 2:05.

OBJECTIVES

To refine your riding technique and improve your feeling and mastery of the bike. To acquire the correct riding position, study the best trajectories, manage acceleration, improve braking, and use the rear brake. To recognize your bike's limits in a safe and appropriate setting.

  • Introductory theoretical session, 30 minutes.
  • Five 20-minute track sessions alternated with theoretical sessions on the technical principles of riding with feedback from the instructor based on the videos taken during the session.

CHAMPIONS
CLASS

Dainese Champions Class was designed for those who want to improve their performance and learn all the secrets of the track by meeting the professional riders who wrote and continue to write the history of World Champion motorcycle racing with Dainese.

The Champions Class is reserved for those who already have solid experience on the track and want to perfect their performance and riding technique through the support of World Championship riders, who will provide their experience to help students increase their speeds in corners while refining braking, acceleration, and control of the bike. The course consists of an introductory theoretical session and five practical sessions, alternated with lessons on the best riding techniques.

TARGET

For riders with solid experience on the track who want to improve their performance and riding technique.
An A-category licence is required (without power limits), and a Misano lap time of 1:50 to 1:55.

OBJECTIVES

Acquiring excellent track riding technique for a better feel for the track and lap speed. Perfecting riding position, studying the most effective lines, handling acceleration, better braking and use of the rear brake.

AGENDA

  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 7.30 to 8.30 a.m.)
  • One introductory session on theory, 45 minutes.
  • Five 20-minute track sessions alternated with theoretical sessions on the technical principles of riding with feedback from the World Champion rider based on the videos taken during the session.
  • Certificates of participation provided at the end.

PARTICIPANTS

Groups of four will be formed based on individual skills. Each group will have the support of one World Champion rider with plenty of experience.

MOTOGP
CLASS

The exclusive Dainese MotoGP™ Class course is for those who want their dream of riding on the track with the legendary Valentino Rossi and world champion Franco Morbidelli to come true. The two professional MotoGP™ riders will be there to reveal all the secrets of track racing to the participants and improve performance, bringing their style closer to that of the champions.

The MotoGP™ Class is reserved for those with an excellent level of experience on the track who want to perfect their performance and riding technique with the aid of the professional MotoGP™ riders, who will offer their experience to help enhance cornering speed, braking, acceleration and control of the bike.

The course comprises an introductory theory session, in-depth technical information on the Yamaha YZF-R1M and tyres and two practical sessions, alternating with in-depth information on the best riding techniques.

There will be a charity auction for participation in the VR46 class, with the proceeds going to the Marco Simoncelli 58 Foundation.

TARGET

Dedicated to riders with an excellent level of experience on the track who wish to improve their performance.
An A-category licence is required (without power limits), and a Misano lap time of less than 1:55.

OBJECTIVES

Acquiring a champion’s track riding technique for a better feel for the track and lap speed. Perfecting riding position, studying the most effective lines, handling acceleration, better braking and use of the rear brake.

AGENDA MORBIDELLI

    MORNING GROUP:
  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 10 to 10.30 a.m.).
  • 45-minute initial theory session.
  • Two 20-minute sessions on the track, alternating with in-depth theory on the main riding techniques, with direct commentary on the videos together with Franco Morbidelli.
  • Concluding certificates of attendance.
  • The course ends at 1.30 p.m.
    AFTERNOON GROUP:
  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 1 to 1.30 p.m.).
  • 45-minute initial theory session.
  • Two 20-minute sessions on the track, alternating with in-depth theory on the main riding techniques, with direct commentary on the videos together with Franco Morbidelli.
  • Concluding certificates of attendance.
  • The course ends at 6 p.m.

AGENDA ROSSI

  • Welcome for participants and registration (from 10 to 10.30 a.m.).
  • Two 20-minute sessions on the track, alternating with in-depth theory on the main riding techniques, with direct commentary on the videos together with Valentino Rossi.
  • Concluding certificates of attendance.
  • The course ends at 4.30 p.m.

PARTICIPANTS
