Biography
This professional rider needs no introduction – three times World Champion, in 125 in 2003 and in 250 in 2004 and 2005, and 6 times on the final podium of the MotoGP™ standings. Born in Sabadell, Catalonia, on September 29, 1985, like almost all his peers he approached the world of motorbikes when he was a boy. By the end of the 1990s he was already competing for the top positions in the national and international minibike series, to the extent that Honda noticed him and took him to his 2001 debut in the World Championship. The first podiums soon arrived, the following year the first wins and then the title. Dani’s career has been marked by many successes but also by a few too many injuries, which often prevented him from competing for the world title in the top class. After retiring as a professional rider at the end of 2018, Daniel Pedrosa dedicated himself to testing for KTM, a bike with which he recently took part in some wildcard races, proving to still be as fast as the best.
