ROSSI AND MORBIDELLI ON THE SILVERSTONE PODIUM

The MotoGP at Silverstone ends with two Dainese riders on the podium. Both Valentino Rossi in MotoGP and Franco Morbidelli in Moto2 secure the final podium spot amid great excitement.

In the premier class, “The Doctor” from Tavullia finished in third place after a spectacular performance, which crowned the festivities for the enduring champion’s 300th GP race. Rossi is now in sight of the leader in rankings, having closed the gap with Dovizioso to 26 points.

In Moto2, Franco Morbidelli had just renewed his contract with Dainese and AGV until 2019 and successfully held his position as leader in the rankings by earning a hard-won third place, the eighth podium spot he has won this season, which puts him 29 points ahead of Luthi.
