KANE AVELLANO AWARDED GUINNESS WORLD RECORD WITH THE HELP OF DAINESE AND AGV

British adventurer Kane Avellano has officially been awarded the Guinness World Record for being the youngest person to circumnavigate the world solo by motorcycle, at 23 years of age.

Dainese and AGV supported Kane’s endeavour since its beginning, providing him with top-of-the-range touring gear that helped the young rider on his journey through the most extreme weather conditions, from monsoons in India and storms in South America, to desert rides in Australia and freezing cold in Europe.

Kane clocked over 32,000 miles on his Triumph Bonneville, crossing 35 different countries and six continents in less than six months. His ride had a charitable purpose too: raising money for UNICEF, the world’s leading charity for the protection of children.

“Every moment has been worth it. I faced each challenge with excitement, not knowing how I would overcome it or who would help me!’ commented Kane after receiving the prize. “These eight months were the most exciting in my life. I had the chance to discover what the world really has to offer, to meet many different people along the way and explore their cultures, religions and behaviours, while having an incredible time.”
