This year, Morbidelli got off to a fantastic with 3 consecutive victories from pole in Qatar, Argentina and Texas and went on to win 5 more times at Le Mans, Assen, Sachsenring, Red Bull Ring and Aragon. This is a record-equalling result for the Moto2 category but the Italian has one more race in Valencia to set the bar even higher.
