STEPHANIE BRUNNER

STEPHANIE BRUNNER

Dividing her time between her passions for skiing, slacklining and swimming, the young Austrian Stephanie Brunner made her debut on the World Cup circuit on 7 December 2009. Her dream is to be among the top 20 in the World Cup rankings, in order to become a permanent member of the ÖSV Austrian national team. She achieved her first podium finish in the European Cup in February 2014, arriving 2nd in the giant slalom at Monte Pora, but it was in 2016 that she was crowned winner in the giant slalom rankings. Her first time at the world championships was at Sankt Moritz 2017 where she was ranked 5th in the giant slalom.

Consistently determined and driven, Stephanie is always active. And when there is no snow? Not a problem: she pulls on her climbing shoes, turns up music and goes back to the “slopes” to experience the mountains in a different way.finish in the European Cup in February 2014, arriving 2nd in the giant slalom at Monte Pora, but it was in 2016 that she was crowned winner in the giant slalom rankings.
