These new articulated hard-shell elbow pads developed for the gravity disciplines set a new design language within the Dainese protective gear range. The thermoplastic polyethylene shells ergonomically hug the most impact sensitive areas, featuring a functional pattern inspired by the fractals principle, the nature’s language used to create complex structures that now becomes the new Dainese’s protective design code. The articulated joint allow the guard to move with the natural motion of the elbow, ensuring proper positioning and unrestricted movement.

The Armoform concept defines a new generation of hardshell protective gear.
The hard polyethylene shell used in Armoform is precedent setting for its ability to dissipate shock over a wider area, to slide across a crash surface and to prevent ‘piercing’, leading to less injury from sharp objects like rocks and branches as well as world class protection at high speed.
The fractal scaling reticulation defines a supportive ribbing, with thicker pattern in high impact zones and tapered near the edges for mobility and flexibility.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF
KNEE CIRCUMFERENCE
Bike knee circumference
Starting from the center of the patella, measure 10 cm downward. From that point, measure the circumference of the calf, contracting the muscle. Then, starting from the center of the patella, measure 10 cm upward. From that point, measure the circumference of the thigh, contracting the muscle.
ELBOW CIRCUMFERENCE
Bike elbow circumference
Starting from the center of the elbow bone, measure 10 cm in the direction of the wrist. From that point, measure the circumference of the forearm, contracting the muscle. Then, starting from the center of the elbow bone, measure 10 cm in the direction of the bicep. From that point, measure the circumference of the flexed bicep.
