17 June 2013 | News
Another World Cup round coming to fruition for Team Lapierre Gravity Republic. In Val di Sole, a top-to-bottom technical course through the forest put the rider’s skills to the test.
The young buck Loris Vergier comes again very close to step onto the box, 4th place in the Junior category.
Second place for Emmeline Ragot, on the chase of the British Rachel Atherton now just 5 seconds ahead.
After the mistake in the race run at Fort William, redemption hasn't been long in coming for Loic Bruni, who ends his second race as elite in 4th place leaving many of the big names behind him. It's clear that the wonderboy is mature and we can't wait to see more of him during the season.
It hasn’t been as good for Sam Blenkinsop who didn't quite get the feeling on the bike in the dusty, ever-changing track over the weekend. He had to settle for a 21 stthis time.
Lapierre now holds the second place on the team overall ranking. Next round is in Vallnord the end of July.
