INTERNATIONAL ROAD SAFETY MEET
29 June 2005 | News
Spectacular two-wheeled riding with the emphasis on safety and general good times all 'round are assured at the first International Road Safety Meet to be held this Saturday and Sunday July 2-3, 2005 at the National Automobile Race Track in Monza promoted and organised by the T.W.O. Company in collaboration with Dainese as the event's Safety Partner.
Dainese will provide the protective gear for all the participants in the riding tests and courses and bring Marco Simonelli, the young winner in the recent 125 cc Class GP Motorcycle race in Jerez, as special guest.
The entire weekend will be dedicated to sports and fun as participants will be given the chance to admire and test the range of supersport, supermotard, trial, quad and freestyle bikes and scooters on display in the most complete safety.
Each riding speciality will have its own test area specially equipped in the paddocks: with a ramp for spectacular free-style jumps, an over 1,000 sq m supermotard circuit, a course built to measure for quad bikes, obstacles and barriers for trial bikes, and a mini-test circuit for scooters, while the Automobile race track's own circuit will be used for supersport and road motorcycles.
The two days will feature riding shows in all areas and exhibitions by speciality champions such as Van Den Bosh, Dal Farra, Chambon, Berera, Seel, Pirovano, Gozzini, Bianconcini, Lazzarini, and Bartolini, to name just a few.
The T.W.O. riding schools will all be open to give everyone the chance to experience the thrills of high-speed racing that only a track like this can provide, and the Fasola School will give an exhibition of all the tricks you need to “skid sidewise”.
The unique show is an event that simply must not be missed by all two-wheeled riding fans or anyone else at all because Saturday evening, July 2, at 20:00, the best freestylers will stage a spectacular show of free-style skills on quads, bicycles, trial and motocross bikes with breath-taking acrobatics in an unprecedented setting: the starting straightaway at the National Automobile Race Track in Monza that will be lit up for the occasion like it hasn't been lit up for a long, long time.
Last but not least, a beauty pageant for the selection of Miss Italia, will provide the event with a magnificent added attraction.
