Dainese and Italy are sitting happily on the roof of the World (Ski Cup, that is) currently being held in Are, Sweden with Patrick Staudacher. The Dainese Team athlete prevailed over all the others in the competition’s inaugural Super G to win the nation its first gold medal in the speciality after the one brought home in 1996 by Alberto Tomba.
For the Italian national ski team speed king who wears Dainese protective technology during both training and competition, this amounts to nothing less than an outstanding and history-making result that sends him right into the Hall of Fame of the Champions of this speciality that demands both technique and courage.
