THUMBS UP FOR DAINESE AND MAX

12 May 2005 | News

Max Biaggi has been chosen by Sony Entertainment Italia to promote its new “MotoGP 2004” videogame developed for its galactically famous PlayStation 2.
The smiling face of the Roman racer who has always worked so closely with Dainese will appear in coming months in all the Sony videogame magazines and PlayStation store packaging to promote the exciting new game that lets players emulate the Motorcycle GP racing champs while seated comfortably in an armchair at home.
The ad campaign kicks off with a sly slogan and a wink: “The challenge that will leave its mark is about to begin”, and then shows Max, our own Roman "gladiator" holding up a torn and worn-out motorcycle glove with a hole in the thumb - meaning that he's been hitting the keys on his PlayStation 2 joypad just a bit too hard!
It's all just a touched-up photo, of course: Max would probably wear out his thumb long before he ever made a hole in his brand-new white Speed Metal glove! That's a Charger-V jacket Max is wearing, by the way…
Dainese keeps playing with Sony (read the latest news on Lisa Thorne) and who knows how long Max has been "training" on his PlayStation2 for - hopefully - his first big win of the season this Sunday in Le Mans!
