Dainese pilots stand out in a weekend of bad weather: Dani Pedrosa wins the 125 Class race and Valentino Rossi comes in second after a fight to the last curve with rival Gibernau
The wildly changing weather took its toll on the GP motorcycle racing results last weekend as the suspension of competition almost certainly cost the Italian champ the victory. Valentino offered viewers an unforgettable spectacle just the same however in a furious battle with Gibernau waged with the greatest sportsmanship.
The 250 Class race was rife with disappointment for Poggiali, who slid to the asphalt after rear-ending Porto when he slowed down unexpectedly coming out of a curve.
On the sunnier side, the 125 Class victory went to Dani Pedrosa, who confirmed his prowess to reach first-place ranking in the standings.
We hope to see you all soon in Mugello!
