ONE, TWO, AND THREE!

03 October 2005 | News

If revenge is a dish to be served in cold blood, Valentino Rossi is the best chef to bring it to the table. Exactly twelve months from his disqualification in Qatar, Valentino Rossi set things right and by winning a brilliant race and wiping out the darkest moment in his splendid 2004 season!
Valentino ran a perfect race that ended up in a duel to the final breakaway with Marco Melandri that Val really wanted to win. The Ace from Tavullia showed that his thirst for victory remains unquenched and that a great racer like him can find a challenge always and anywhere.
If the MotoGP Title has already been won, things are different in 250 cc and 125 cc competition.
On Saturday, Daniel Pedrosa reached the finish line on the Doha track in a race dominated by Casey Stoner, who is now coming up hot on his heels in the general standings (the Spaniard still has 239 points against his closest opponent's 213).
In the 125 Class, there's a battle to the bitter end going on. After a disappointing race, Thomas Lüthi slid to 2nd place in the standings just 2 points behind Mika Kallio.
As if to say: in the final three races in World Motorcycle Racing competition, the sparks are really going to fly!
Our best compliments go to Jorge Lorenzo and Marco Simoncelli for their 2nd and 3rd place finishes in the 250 and 125 cc Class competition.
