Dainese Tattoo fundraiser in San Francisco

06 May 2009 | News

The San Francisco Dainese D-Store hosted a unique and successful event benefiting the international non-profit group, Riders for Health, on May 2nd.  To introduce their new Tattoo collection, the D-Store San Francisco asked local tattoo artists to decorate Dainese back protectors with their talents and each art piece was auctioned off with all proceeds going to Riders for Health.

Riders for Health provide motorcycles, safety training, and motorcycle maintenance, as well as other kinds of transport to health care workers in Africa. The program allows workers to reach communities in rural areas. The UK based organization is starting chapters in the US, and the D-Store San Francisco wanted to help raise awareness in the Bay Area. Sixteen local tattoo artists donated their time by embellishing back protectors with their talent, which were then sold to help raise money for the organization.

Transformed with art, music, lights, an array of vintage Nortons and BSA motorcycles, D-Store San Francisco took the opportunity to show off the latest Dainese Tattoo collection with sexy, tattooed models. The collection includes the limited edition Tattoo YKZ one piece race suit, the Trophy and Tattoo YKZ jackets, as well as an inspiring casual collection for both men and women.
