SOELDEN 2012
01 November 2012 | News
Just as the snow has arrived at Soelden, so too Dainese have taken their first podium finish.
A fantastic performance from Manfred Moelgg took him back to the top ranks of the skiing classification when he finished second in the opening Giant Slalom race of the World Cup series. Despite the poor weather conditions, he made no mistakes and his result promises well for the rest of the season. The day didn't get off to a great start. A van climbing the snow-covered road up to the glacier was involved in an accident that created a few problems. All ended well however.
The other two Dainese skiers, Florian Eisath and Roberto Nani did well and came home in eleventh and eighteenth places respectively with career best performances. In the women's race on Saturday, Maria Riesch finished eleventh.
