Aksel Lund Svindal paid a highly appreciated visit to the Dainese headquarters in West Vicenza. Dainese.
On Friday, June 1, 2007, in fact, taking advantage of the simultaneous occurrence of the Grand Prix competition in Mugello, the new Downhill World Ski Cup King came to the commercial offices of the company that provides him with protective racing gear, helmet, and face mask.
An extremely affable Svindal met with President Lino Dainese and entertained one and all with stories from his absolutely fantastic season. Then the 24 year old Norwegian athlete autographed a helmet that he donated to the company before meeting with the R & D technical team at the Molvena headquarters for an update on the latest improvements to be made in the competitive gear he'll be using next season.
Saturday and Sunday, the Norwegian champ - who also won the Giant Slalom speciality cup and 3 gold medals at the World Ski Championships in Are, Sweden - will visit the racetrack in Mugello as a guest of the Dainese Service for a series of high-speed experiences.
