SVINDAL WINS IN SOELDEN
29 October 2007 | News
Aksel Lund Svindal started the new World Ski Cup season in the same way as finished the last one: winning! After making a few mistakes and coming in 6th in the first heat on the Soelden Glacier in Austria, he dominated the second heat and dashed his adversaries’ hopes to the ground.
Things got off to a great start for the champion who wears Dainese protection and won the season’s first Giant Slalom race. The new colors on the Stinger helmet brought good luck and are appreciated by Aksel and all the other Dainese athletes as well. The excellent 9th place finish by Alberto Schieppati and the 15th place result by Davide Simoncelli also deserve mention. Both athletes have been wearing Dainese colors for years.
