Sensational week for Dainese Skiers

17 December 2002 | News

The Skiing World Cup week-end concluded with two victories and a number of excellent places in Val d’Isere and Sestriere.
Karen Putzer confirmed her excellent condition with her second consecutive victory after the one in Lake Louise last week, placing her third in the overall World Cup standings. On Friday Daniela Ceccarelli came in second in the Super G at just two tenths of second from the winner.

Excellent results also in the men’s races in Sestriere on Sunday and Monday. Two places on the podium thanks to Ivica Kostelic’s victory and Giorgio Rocca’s second place in the Special Slalom.
The results of the Giant Slalom in Val d’Isere were also encouraging with the promising young skiers Rieder (5th), Fill (6th) and Roberto (9th), who entrust the protection of their hands to Dainese gloves.
