Giorgio Rocca continues his string of success with a third-place finish in the Special Slalom race in Flachau (Austria).
Although he\'d finished fourth in the first heat, an excellent second descent (for the 6th best time, an outstanding achievement considering the conditions of the slope) allowed Giorgio to beat out Benjamin Raich who finished fourth. Rocca also came closer to Austrian Manfred Pranger, who edged out the Italian by just 2 hundredths of a second at the finish line.
This is the second straight winner\'s stand for Giorgio Rocca after his second-place finish in Madonna di Campiglio.
Rocca now stands just 10 points behind top ranking Finn Kalle Palander.
