Just 4 hundredths of a second kept our Norwegian ace from a record-breaking Gold medal that would have honoured him once again as the longest-lasting champion in the history of competitive skiing.
Lasse Kjus is not new to accomplishments of the kind, and regularly comes out ahead of much younger athletes.
The top-ranking Italian Giorgio Rocca came home with a satisfying 8th-place time: Giorgio is now gearing up to garner even better results in the coming specialities most suited to his style and stands a good chance of finishing first!
