The battle between motorcycles and jets goes on.
In the saddle of a road-version Aprilia RSV 1000 R, the Spanish pilot challenged the acceleration of an Aviojet C-101 jet from the Aguila/Eagle squadron based in Murcia, southern Spain and the motorcycle's burst of acceleration proved faster.
The idea was originally presented by Ducati, organisers of a match-up with an Italian Airforce Starfire F104 jet that never took place.
