AND TWO…

17 October 2005 | News

This time, the spotlight is focused entirely on Daniel Pedrosa. Despite his tender years, the phenomenal Spanish Champ returns from Australia after winning his second straight 250 cc Class World Championship. A bright future in the highest MotoGP Category now beckons.
Despite fracturing a shoulder in a spill during the Motegi Grand Prix time trails in Japan, Pedrosa bore down and won the Philipp Island GP race to justly claim his well-deserved 125 cc Class Title with two races left to go in the season.
Compatriot Jorge Lorenzo stood by his side on the winner's stand with an excellent 3rd place finish in a breath-taking race.
After Valentino Rossi, Daniel Pedrosa brings another precious trophy to the Dainese headquarters, where expectations are now on Thomas Lüthi, the absolute king of the 125 cc Class all alone at the top of the standings who turned in another spectacular performance in Australia. Our compliments also go to Marco Simoncelli, whi finished 3rd after making one if his trademark comebacks.
Last but not least, we also recall the umpteenth success by Valentino Rossi that provided a three-of-kind success for the Dainese Team. “The Doctor” scored his 11th win this season that confirms his incredible success Down Under, where he has stepped up on the highest step on the winner's stand uninterruptedly every year since 1998. What a show indeed!
