The pneumatic system

D-air® uses "cold" technology gas generators and high-pressure airbags to achieve the highest standards of protection and ergonomics.

The D-air® airbag has a volume of approximately 5 litres while the Street version has a volume of 12. But the volume is just one aspect of D-air®'s sophisticated pneumatic system, which inflates special airbags with a Dainese-patented structure at high pressure. The airbag has a three-dimensional structure providing controlled expansion, which combines with high-pressure inflation to enable it to assume shapes and sizes that have been carefully calculated to wrap around and protect the rider's body. All this makes it possible to achieve maximum impact absorption with minimum bulk.
