Rider airbag for track use. The first system able to recognise events linked to front or rear wheel slides on motorbikes.

The development of the system involved a long test programme on the race track, using a specially-built telemetry system to collect the motorcycle-rider system dynamics data, and then processing it to fine-tune the airbag-triggering decision-making process.

D-TEC® carried out the tests and system development with the company 2D.
