Activation system: the airbag is controlled by an electronic system capable of sensing an impact which sends a triggering signal to the system worn by the rider. The rider doesn't need to connect any kind of cable to the bike. And thanks to the special gas generators adopted, the system is able to inflate the airbags in just thirty milliseconds
The system uses three thirty-litre airbags to protect the back, sides and chest.
D-air® already featured its core technical solutions in 2000, adopting a system based on airbag technology that was capable of activation without any physical connections to the motorcycle.
