Bode was born in the USA in 1977 and has inspired thousands of youngsters thanks to his technique pushed to the limit but highly efficient. A multi-discipline skier, Bode has won in all the 5 specialities of Alpine Skiing,  a record shared with only 4 other skiers in history. His prize collection is incredible with 6 medals from the Olympics, 5 from the World Cup Series, 2 from the World Championships, 4 from Specialities, 33 wins in World Cup races and 79 podium places. Brought up in the forests in New Hampshire, he wasted no time in making a name for himself thanks to his innate ability to let his skis glide under any conditions.  Of his many undertakings, the one that must stand out took place in 2005 at Bormio when after losing a ski at over 100 kph in the downhill race, he kept on going for another 2 minutes demonstrating not just his skill but also his disregard for danger.

Bode was delighted to become a member of the Dainese team and showed great interest and awareness about safety issues being aware that he could count on all the protective gear developed by Dainese for skiing.
