Back from Welcom with excellent results, we now hope no one is going to feel any nostalgia for Africa!
The Welcom track was the scene for two splendid victories and a Motorcycle GP placing on a winner's stand packed with Dainese riders.
In the 125 Class, Daniel Pedrosa scored his first win in 2003 wearing Dainese colours.
In the 250 Class, Manuel Poggiali repeated his triumphant success on the Suzuka GP circuit, demonstrating once again just how quickly he has come into his own in the heavier bike category and is now ready to beat international adversaries in new competition classes.
In the Motorcycle GP Class, a big round of applause goes to Sete Gibernau's well-deserved win, with the Dainese pilots coming in close behind as Valentino and Max claimed the second and third placings respectively. Not to mention the excellent fourth-place finish by Troy Bayliss astride the increasingly stupefying Ducati Desmosedici.
Now we're all waiting for the World Motorcycle Racing circus to hit Europe, hoping none of our pilots have left their hearts in Africa!
