Saturday 23 February, Meribel (France), Women’s downhill. Maria Hoefl-Riesch climbs onto the podium and finishes with a superb second place. The same day, in Garmisch Partenkirchen (Germany), the sixth place of the Italian Werner Heel still in downhill must be highlighted.

Sunday 24 February it’s the turn of the Men’s giant slalom. Manfred Moelgg finishes fifth and consolidates his third place in the speciality ranking. To notice also the 15th place of the young German Benedikt Staubitzer, the 17th of Florian Eisath and the 22nd of Roberto Nani.
