Dainese warranty – Regulations for protectors and GORE-TEX® clothing
Dainese guarantees the "protectors" and the "GORE-TEX® clothing" (hereinafter the "product/s"), accompanied by the warranty certificate, against manufacturing defects and faulty materials.
This does not affect your statutory rights with the dealer where you purchased the products.
The Dainese warranty is valid for 3 (three) years from purchase for "protectors" and for 5 (five) years for "GORE-TEX® clothing" accompanied by the warranty certificate.
Activating the warranty
In order to activate the standard warranty, visit www.dainese.com within 30 days of purchasing the product and register with the Dainese "D-club" (https://www.dainese.com/uk_en/customer/account/create/); you do not need to do anything if you are already registered.
Coverage and exclusions
The Dainese warranty covers any type of manufacturing defect or faulty materials used to manufacture the product.
Any failure of the product to satisfy your expectations, however caused, may not be considered as a defect for purposes of this warranty.
The warranty does not cover, under any circumstances, damages deriving from: improper use; normal wear and tear; damage; tampering; incorrect maintenance of the garment; negligence or lack of care; damage caused by falling and/or accidents, i.e. alterations due to external causes, including any repairs performed by unauthorised people; damages caused by other factors/actions beyond the control of Dainese; subjective assessments of the user, such as comfort and wearability; damage caused by prolonged exposure to sources of light and/or heat.
The standard warranty is limited to products purchased from “authorised” Dainese dealers in your country of residence and accompanied by the warranty certificate.
The warranty does not cover Dainese products you may have purchased on line from websites which are located in a foreign country and not in your country of residence. (Except for purchases on dainese.com)
How to use the warranty
In order to use the warranty, please send the following to Dainese:
a) the product for which the claim is being made, through any "authorised" Dainese dealer;
b) the receipt;
d) the warranty certificate accompanying the product.
Dainese will check whether you have registered with D-club within the times required by the regulations.
- For further information and to consult the complete regulations of the Dainese standard warranty, visit www.dainese.com and/or contact the Dainese assistance service at the e-mail address firstname.lastname@example.org
Dainese reserves the right to check whether the claimed defect exists and to repair or replace the product only after it has performed this check. If no manufacturing defect or faulty materials are found after this check, Dainese reserves the right to charge the customer for the costs of the check and repair and also for the relative shipment costs.
If Dainese is unable to repair or replace the product or any parts thereof, it will make you an offer, taking the age of the product into account, for replacement of the product with another identical one or with an equivalent model.
