Piston™ fabric

Fabric for sports clothing composed of high-tenacity nylon with twisted super-matte thread insert. Good resistance to wear and tear; discreet resistance to UV radiation. Provided with polyurethane resin coating Protector treatment that gives the fabric excellent resistance to penetration by water and oil, and the material does not require ironing for the restoration of such properties but merely sufficient air drying after washing. This treatment was developed thanks to nanotechnology applied to textile finishing.

3D bubble fabric with wool

The central parts of Multisport Winter 2009 jacket interiors feature an extensive area in 3D Bubble fabric matched with wool. This fabric is made in Polyamide 6.6 for elevated abrasion resistance, and composed of high-tenacity "Air Jet Texturized" thread in the warp and a weft made with 8 strands of twisted nylon over a perfectly covered Lycra core. Perfectly balanced fabric elasticity gives the garments made with Collision a fantastic fit. The particular lamination of the polyurethane membrane with "Hot Melt technology guarantees extremely elevated values of watertightness (8000 mm sec. UNI EN 20811) even after countless maintenance treatments. Elevated breathability permits the use of the garment under any and all weather conditions.

Cordura® fabric

The S1CRT2 version has a breathable polyurethane resin for bonding to Gore-Tex membrane; the S1CR14 version has a polyurethane resin with a water column height of more than 1500 mm.

D-Axial System in Carbon and Kevlar® fibre

The S1 version S1 (without resin coating) features Protector treatment. The S1P1 version, in addition to Protector treatment, also features breathable, windproof polyurethane resin coating. Duratex™ PA 6.6 fabric

Fabric for use in sports clothing made in Taslanized Nylon 6.6 with good resistance to abrasion and tear, provided with Protector treatment that eliminates need for ironing and enables restoration of water and oil repellence characteristics merely through air drying. Also characterized by a windproof and breathable polyurethane resin coating.

E5068ksl

This twin-layer laminate material is made of super microfibre PES on the outside that gives it a soft appearance. The inside is made of polyurethane laminate that makes the fabric water resistant. The overall look is enhanced by water repellence treatment.

Eps

Polystyrene is a material composed of carbon and hydrogen atoms and derived directly from petroleum. Its closed cell structure keeps air trapped inside in order to prevent convective movement, in this way guaranteeing excellent thermal insulation. EPS is entirely recyclable, breathable, and permeable to water vapour but impermeable to water.

Peox

This product unique in its kind has permitted UNI EN ISO 13595 certification to be obtained, a distinction previously achieved only by articles in leather, thanks to extremely elevated mechanical resistance performance. Comparable to normal fabrics in Cordura 500/700 or 1000, various Kevlar® structures, or the latest and various articles in ballistic Nylon, Peox obtains far superior mechanical resistance values. There are three dynamic tests specified by UNI EN ISO 13595: the one for resistance to abrasion during falls on asphalt is very strict and usually not even passed by products considered to be the longest-lasting. Thanks to its particular three-sided armoured weave and surface plasma treatment, the water-repellence and breathability offered by Peox are guaranteed to maintain their maximum values over time.

Relax™ fabric

In particular, the article is characterized by good tensile strength, elevated elongation properties, good abrasion resistance, elevated capability to evaporate bodily moisture while maintaining good water repellence, and excellent dimensional stability to domestic washing.

Sand wash leather

This class of cowhide is distinguished by a specific washing treatment performed on the finished piece that provides a typically “vintage” look. Dainese quality standards also guarantee elevated colorfastness as required by the specific use for which the garment has been designed. Thickness 1.1 +/- 0.1.

Sateen

This fabric is similar to satin and made with the same weave. Although soft to the touch, its special structure guarantees excellent tensile strength.

Sateen 5-2L

This stretch satin is made with air textured multi-filament Pa 6.6 yarn that permits the the creation of an extremely comfortable fabric with good mechanical properties, while lamination with breathable, waterproof, elastic polyurethane membrane preserves its properties intact even after intense use. The addition of HT Teflon makes the fabric also water-repellent and stainproof.

Slize

Slize fabric is distinguished by the fact that it is made in 100% PES with taffeta jersey construction that makes it as light as a feather. The Cire finishing provided on the outside gives a bright, shiny effect, and the overall look is enhanced by water repellence treatment.

Soft cowhide

Split leather (suede and washable suede)

This article is generally used for suede inserts with a soft and velvety, comfortable feel. Good mechanical performance ensures that this material is used to make leather garments or wherever leather is combined with textiles. In this latter case, a variant of washable split leather is used that has been designed to be washed in water (maximum temperature 30°C – with mild liquid detergents without fabric softeners) as specified on the label. Techno Technology

The application of thermoformed protectors inside the fabric eliminates the need for stitching on the back of the glove and elsewhere. This innovation keeps the the protection applied to the knuckles and the back of the hand usually applied by stitching from detaching and therefore losing protective efficiency against spills and abrasion. This technology employs the protector-fabric stratification process that creates the back of the glove in one single, highly-resistant piece without stitching.

Texas

Texas is a fabric for sports clothing made in high-tenacity twisted Polyamide (PA 90%), Elastomer (EA 5%), and Polyurethane resin (5%). Because it is a twisted thread, it offers excellent resistance to abrasion and breaking along with excellent comfort, thanks to elastomeric inserts. The particular finishing grants optimum water repellence and permits elevated water/oil repellence even after washing without requiring ironing. Titanium

Tricanvas

This exclusive fabric was born from experience in the production of fabrics for work and protective clothing. The need to combine elevated mechanical resistance with the aesthetic attraction and comfort typical of natural fibre were the driving principles behind its engineering. The fabric’s warp is made with special Polyamide 6.6 thread subjected to high-torsion twisting after first undergoing inflation. The weft is composed of a selection of particularly long double-twisted cottons in order to ensure the maximum resistance possible. The result is an innovative material with extremely high mechanical resistance and a cottony look and feel. The waterproofing finishing applied is based on poly-tetrafluorate products that grant the material excellent water-repellence and stain-proof qualities.

Trimix PA 6.6 fabric

In this fabric in Polyamide 6.6 with special and exclusive threads, three strands of microfibre are subject to high torsion twisting for elevated performance. The extremely high number of filaments per cm² (over 13,000/cm²) grants good resistance to mechanical stress and excellent comfort. Special TEFLON® HT protective treatment makes the fabric highly water-repellent without altering its breathability. A particular "script effect” finishing enhances its characteristic "Vintage" effect over time and gives the garment a uniquely personal look and feel.

Trimix® fabric

Tritela 2L

This is a canvas with square construction of extremely high density made with different layers of super-thin polyester microfibre (0.4 denier\filament) that creates a membrane with elevated waterproofness and breathability in order to guarantee excellent protection. The addition of HT Teflon makes the fabric also water-repellent and stainproof.

Vintage cowhide

This class of leather represents a type of articles designed to vaunt a unique and personal look thanks to particular tanning treatments based on resin and natural oils that enhance the characteristic “vintage” look with use and the passage of time.
