DOUBLE PODIUM FOR BASAGOITIA @ SUMMER TEVA MOUNTAIN GAMES

This past weekend professional and amateur athletes from around the world converged upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete the Summer Teva Mountain Games, the America's largest celebration of adventure sports. Two intense and successful days for Dainese's pro rider Paul Basagoitia, who goes back home with two podiums. On friday a second place in the Slopestyle competition with a stunning run in which he showcased several technical tricks, namely a huge front flip on the last jump. "I knew I would have reached a top spot if I had landed it" says Paul. On Saturday another success followed in the Freeride Dual competition, a full-on, head-to-head race, that include jumps, ramps and other obstacles. Basagoitia this time took the first place, edging out Aaron Chase.
Lo scorso weekend atleti professionisti e amatoriali da tutto il mondo si sono dati appuntamento tra le montagne e i fiumi di Vail per competere nei Summer Teva Mountain Games, il più grande evento di "adventure sports" delle Americhe. Sono state due giornate intense e piene di soddisfazioni per l'atleta Dainese Paul Basagoitia, che torna a casa con due podi. Venerdì si è meritato un secondo posto nella gara di Slopestyle , con una splendida corsa in cui ha dimostrato le sue eccelenti doti tecniche: in particolare, si è fatto notare con uno sbalorditivo front flip nell'ultimo salto. "Sapevo che sarei riuscito ad entrare nelle prime posizioni se fossi riuscito a portare a termine quel salto" dice Paul. Il sabato gli ha portato un altro successo nella corsa Freeride Dual, una gara testa a testa molto intensa che include salti, rampe e altri ostacoli. Basagoitia si è portato a casa il primo posto, tagliando fuori Aaron Chase.
