The electonic system

D-air® is the first system to operate without any physical connection to the motorcycle, whether on the track or on the road.
Right from the year 2000, the D-air ® project has worked to a demanding design brief: to develop a system that doesn't require any physical connections to the motorcycle. All the electronics responsible for managing the system are based on a sophisticated set of sensors, including accelerometers, gyroscopes and a GPS, to control the relevant dynamic parameters at a very high frequency. The decision to design a wireless system was linked to a double need: to meet the needs of riders in track use and to provide fast enough protection from the initial impact in typical road accident situations.
