AGV decided to celebrate the new year with Valentino's replica helmet “Misano ci dà una mano”

Valentino Rossi's replica helmet “Misano ci dà una mano”  will be available at sales outlets for fans of the “Doctor” from Tavullia!

This helmet made its debut during FP3 at Misano on 13 September last year. It is a real tribute to the Misano track that lies just a few miles from Valentino's home, the place where he started his racing career. These graphics brought Valentino great luck and with them he took his first win of the season in front of a huge cheering crowd!

The writing on the chin guard comes from a famous Italian advertising jingle that has become a motto: ‘Misano gives us a hand’ (“Misano, ci dà una mano” in Italian)

The yellow number 46 and AGV logo sit above the nape of the neck. These two symbols have accompanied Valentino throughout his incredible career. The number 58 is a posthumous dedication to his great friend Marco Simoncelli.

The sky blue background enhances the other brilliant, fluorescent colours. The colours are exhilarating on this helmet and almost resemble a children's game.

The hand prints on the helmet belong to the skilful hands of the Team Movistar Yamaha MotoGP mechanics who are, as ever, ready to help Vale in this his home race with their experience and expertise . The "usual suspects" are still there: the paw prints of Valentino's beloved dogs, Cesare and Cecilia and those of his red cat Rossano. There are also lipstick kisses from the women in his life - his Mum Stefania and his girlfriend Linda.

The fingerprint on the helmet is of his friend and designer Aldo Drudi, who is his constant companion in these creative adventures.

The MISANO 2014 graphics were made on PISTA and CORSA helmets with differing homologations depending on the country of sale.
