Congratulazioni ai tre vincitori coreani del concorso ad estrazione organizzato in collaborazione con Dainese e AGV!

Min Ho Kim, Min Hyung Choi e Hyun Joong Choi sono stati i tre protagonisti dell’evento creato dal distributore Dainese e AGV per la Corea.
I tre fortunati non hanno solo vinto un fantastico viaggio a Kuala Lumpur e Sepang ma hanno anche avuto l’opportunità di incontrare Valentino Rossi. Il pluricampione del mondo MotoGP ha trascorso del tempo con i tre vincitori autografando i caschi AGV omaggiati ai tre concorrenti, entusiasti di aver avuto un’occasione unica nel suo genere!

Min Ho Kim, Min Hyung Choi and Hyun Joong Choi were at the centre of attention throughout the event organized by Dainese & AGV's Korean distributor.
Not only did the three lucky winners get a fantastic trip to Kuala Lumpur and Sepang but they also had the chance to meet Valentino Rossi. The MotoGP world champion signed the AGV helmets that were given to the winners and spent some time with the three, who were ecstatic for the unique opportunity they had!

STONER TAKES THE TITLE, SIC COMES IN SECOND

Casey Stoner ha vinto il suo secondo titolo mondiale ed è stata un’impresa meravigliosa, qualcosa che sono sicuro sarà vista, spente le emozioni più calde, come una storia leggendaria. Vincere sulla nuova moto, subito, dominando l’intera stagione, chiudendo con il capolavoro del successo sulla pista di casa davanti ai suoi fans. Roba alla Valentino Rossi, alla Agostini. Ed è vero che l’australiano fece più o meno la stessa cosa nel 2007 con la Ducati; però allora questa superiorità, questa classe, non si era vista così bene, la sua moto e le sue gomme dominavano, Rossi era stato molto penalizzato dalle gomme e dai motori della sua Yamaha che in quella fase soffriva. Casey fenomenale, alla nona vittoria e alla undicesima pole del 2011, puntuale sul podio sempre, incontentabile fin dal venerdì di ogni fine settimana, un grande artista della guida, il pittore della derapata a 250 all’ora. E il pilota che dà alla Honda il titolo della classe 800 MotoGP, l’ultimo prima di passare alle 1000.

Giornata dunque particolare, quella vissuta a Phillip Island, e speciale anche per Marco Simoncelli che coglie il miglior risultato della stagione. Secondo, sebbene molto staccato, davanti all’amico-rivale Andrea Dovizioso e finalmente molto soddisfatto. Anche se è mancato Lorenzo, in ospedale e rimettere insieme il dito anulare della mano sinistra, esploso nella caduta del warm-up, c’era pur sempre Pedrosa e sul podio sono montati i due italiani. Con De Angelis, non dimentichiamolo, bellissimo vincitore della Moto2, ai danni di Bradl che torna leader per tre punti su Marquez. Quando mancano soltanto due gare alla conclusione.

E Valentino? Caduto ancora, come a Motegi. Anche qui dopo il quarto tempo nel warm-up, con un crono che autorizzava qualche piccola speranza. Vale aveva ripreso Hayden e Bautista, era davanti al compagno di squadra e stava superando lo spagnolo della Suzuki, viaggiava già quinto e gli è partito l’avantreno a moto neutra, al centro della curva, senza spiegazioni e senza preavvisi. Ora per il 46 non resta che attendere l’inverno e la nuova Ducati: anche la prospettiva di andare a correre in Malesia, che per lui una volta era una festa, oggi gli toglie il sorriso.

Casey Stoner has won his second world title and it is truly a great achievement, something which I'm sure, when things calm down a bit, will be seen as legendary. He wins on the new bike in its first season, after dominating the entire championship, finishing with masterly success on his home track in front of his fans. An accomplishment worthy of Valentino Rossi, of Agostini. And while it is true that the Australian did more or less the same thing in 2007 with the Ducati, back then, his superiority and his class weren't so clear - his bike and his tyres were dominant, but Rossi had been severely penalized both by his tyres and his Yamaha engines, which in that period were suffering. Phenomenal Casey, with his ninth victory and eleventh pole of 2011, always on the podium, insatiable starting on Friday of each weekend, more than a pilot, is a great artist, painting skids at 250 kilometres an hour. And he is the pilot who hands Honda the last championship in the MotoGP 800cc class before it changes to 1000cc.

It was a special day on Phillip Island also for Marco Simoncelli, who obtained his best result of the season. Second, and even if he was quite far off the lead, Simoncelli was in front of his friend and rival Andrea Dovizioso, and was in the end very happy. And even though Lorenzo was missing - in the hospital to put the ring finger of his left hand back together after it exploded in a fall during the warm-up - Pedrosa was still there and the two Italians climbed onto the podium. And De Angelis, it mustn't be forgotten, was the splendid winner of the Moto2 class, beating Bradl, who is again the leader by three points over Marquez. And with only two races left.

And Valentino? He fell again, like at Motegi. Once again again after posting the fourth best time in the warm-up, which seemed to offer some small hope. Vale had caught up with Hayden and Bautista, he was ahead of his teammate and was passing Suzuki's Spaniard and was already fifth when he lost the front-end - though the bike seemed stable in the centre of the curve - without explanation or prior notice.

Now for Number 46 there's nothing to do but wait for the winter and the new Ducati: even the prospect of going to race in Malaysia, which for him was once a party, now wipes the smile off his face.

ERMANNO OLMI MEETS DAINESE

Yesterday Ermanno Olmi, the famous Italian director, who was given the Palme d’Or at Cannes International Film Festival for the film "The tree of wooden clogs" in 1978 and the Career Golden Lion at the Venice FilmFest in 2008, visited us at Dainese headquarter.

The Maestro is making a documentary that talks about the Sport Champion as a bearer of human values, with spreading the culture of safety. The success of the Champion does not come from a reckless courage but from a great preparation, a careful analysis and an appropriate equipment.
Starting from the Nature and medieval armors as a source of inspiration, the film will then talk about the knights of our time, the motorcycle riders.
Some of the filming shots are set in Dainese headquarter.

The Maestro entertained us by remembering the steps of his “motorcycle” past, which includes a fast Honda (“it exceeded 200 km / h and I held it for three months, until my wife told me to choose between the bike and my three children! ") the legendary Lambretta and a Citroen DS, the popular "shark ".

It was a great emotion and a honor for all of us to meet the great director, who lit up the rainy afternoon.
We look forward to admiring this latest work of him!

Ieri è venuto a farci visita Ermanno Olmi, regista Palma d'Oro al Festival di Cannes per il film "L'albero degli zoccoli" e Leone d’Oro per la carriera alla Mostra del Cinema di Venezia.

Il Maestro sta realizzando un documentario che parla del Campione dello sport come di un portatore di valori di civiltà, legati alla diffusione della cultura della protezione. Il successo del Campione non è frutto d'incosciente ardimento ma di grande preparazione, accurata analisi ed equipaggiamento adeguato.
Partendo dalla natura e dalle armature come fonte di ispirazione, il film parlerà quindi dei cavalieri del nostro tempo, i centauri del Motociclismo.
Parte delle riprese sono ambientate proprio nella sede di Dainese.

Il Maestro ci ha intrattenuti piacevolmente ripercorrendo le tappe del proprio passato "motoristico", che annovera una velocissima Honda ("superava i 200 chilometri all'ora e l'ho tenuta per tre mesi, fino a quando mia moglie mi ha detto di scegliere fra la moto e i miei tre figli!") la mitica Lambretta e una Citroen DS, il celebre "squalo".

E' stata per tutti un'emozione e un onore incontrare il grande regista, che ha illuminato il pomeriggio di pioggia.
Non vediamo l'ora di ammirare questa sua ultima opera!
