Still only 26, Martin is arguably the brightest road racing talent to have emerged in the last ten years. His
exuberance and skill on the track is matched by his effervescent personality off it and he is, without doubt,
the crowds favourite.
Although he has yet to win a TT, Guy had made great strides since his debut in
2004. In just his second year to took a debut podium in the Senior and five top six finishes. Guy was one of
the fastest riders throughout TT 2006 on the AIM Yamaha, but the machinery let him down time after time.
He bounced back at the Centenary event and claimed a trio of podium finishes. He was the only Superbike
rider to get anywhere near the legendary John McGuinness, being just a whisker away from joining him in
the ‘130mph Club’ whilst he also took a sensational lap record in the Supersport class. Guy was quick to
acknowledge the TT master John McGuinness, but goes into the 2008 event knowing he is just a whisker away
from deposing the current ‘King of the Mountain’.
Guy certainly appears to have found his spiritual home at
Hydrex Honda and a TT win will happen for the Kirmington rider – it’s just when, not if.
Hello,
Summer has arrived in Stockholm and days are longer and warmer!
After a day of riding my bike, me and my girlfriend like to take a cup of coffee.
Here we are at one of our favourite coffee shops "Non Solo Bar", where they
make excellent espresso, cappuccino and caffe latte!
They also have tall bar stools which is perfect when wearing full motorcycle protection gear!
Hope you have a great summer with a lot of days on the bike!
