Ergonomic design for complete freedom of movement, technical fabrics that can cope will all types of weather and enhanced innovative protection. These are the key elements of the new Dainese Winter Sports Collection presented for the first time at ISPO, in Munich from 24th to 27th January 2016.

For the Autumn/Winter of 2016/17, Dainese offers a range of high performance waterproof garments with the right mix of safety, comfort and breathability for all-round sports use. Functional, intelligent items of clothing, specifically designed harnessing Dainese’s technical skills and know how to meet different needs of modern sports enthusiasts. In fact, thanks to the use of top level materials and exclusive manufacturing processes, Dainese can guarantee the very highest level of quality throughout the entire collection, although always paying attention to detail at its finest.

Top of the range for safety is FLEXAGON, the new Level 2 Dainese back protector that redefines the existing standards of protective comfort with its innovative construction technology. The exceptional flexibility is aided by overlapping soft hexagonal plates, layers of Crash Absorb® memory retention foam that move independently of one another and follow the anatomy of the body, thus increasing comfort and, more importantly, enhancing safety which is why the back protector is EN 1621.2, Level 2 certified.

New arrival outerwear in the Dainese 2016/17 Winter Sports Collection are the Lauberhorn, the Skyward D-Dry®, the Blackcomb D-Dry® and the Ciampac D-Dry® Lady.

The LAUBERHORN JACKET, a skier’s ultimate performance winter outerwear, is a masterpiece of Dainese style and state of the art technology. The Lauberhorn Jacket blends premium quality materials with a purpose-built construction that balances temperature regulation and weather protection while adding style. The outer shell utilizes a Dermizax™ EV membrane for exceptional waterproof/breathability while PrimaLoft® Gold insulation yields ideal thermal insulation, along with internal Keep Heat™ Dyntex textiles for temperature regulation. A removable internal natural down insert creates even more options by allowing variable temperature control for skiing in any weather condition.

The SKYWARD D-DRY® JACKET, features reliable Dainese proprietary winter textiles and technologies including a D-Dry® membrane outer shell and D-Thermo insulation. The jacket’s sports styling appeals to a wide range of enthusiasts, from fast and aggressive skiers to those who prefer a quality jacket to enjoy long days on the snow. No matter the endeavor on the slopes, thanks to Dainese technology the Skyward jacket will keep skiers warm and dry when the weather conditions demand more thermal insulation.

Specifically designed and constructed to isolate down in the body’s core areas to ensure warmth, the BLACKCOMB D-DRY® DOWNJACKET allows specific exceptional movement for skiing. It has a fully waterproof, seam sealed D-Dry® exterior and the full features expected of a ski jacket, including a thumb loop, powder skirt, pass pocket and a removable hood. The jacket is padded with 95% down and 5% feather for incredible softness with an incredibly warm 800 fill to guarantee exceptional thermal insulation.

The CIAMPAC D-DRY® LADY JACKET’s sports look is intended for all types of female skiers, enabling them to keep warm and dry when the weather conditions require more thermal insulation.
