SPECTACULAR was the word for Valentino and his Motorcycle GP race triumphs; SPECTACULAR are the members of the Dainese World Ski Cup team
Kristian Ghedina claimed 2nd place in Saturday's Downhill race in Chamonix.
Giorgio Rocca won the slalom and rose to the top of the Slalom Speciality ranking.
Max Blardone won his first Giant slalom race in Adelboden.
Lasse Kjus took 2nd place in the Combined Race in Wengen.
Some of the merit for this long list of success is also surely due to the presence of the D-Mobile at the World Ski Championsip. No sooner was the Adelboden race won than Italian National Team trainer Flavio Roda was heard to say “….if you want to win at certain levels of competition, all the conditions have to be right. The presence of a splendid structure like the D-Mobile at the finish line gives our guys the additional assurance of a place they can use to find the right degree of concentration and the right amount of stimulation they need to win the race…."
Partnership between FISI and DAINESE continues with better results than ever.
The next race for our Downhill stars will be run in Wengen, which will also be the site this Sunday for our slalom racers led by Slalom-specialist No. 1 Giorgio Rocca!!
