DAINESE WARRANTY – REGULATIONS COVERING “MOTORBIKE PROTECTORS” AND “MOTORBIKE JACKETS AND TROUSERS IN GORE-TEX®”

Dainese guarantees that “motorbike protectors” and “motorbike jackets and trousers in GORE-TEX®” (hereinafter called “product/s”) with a warranty certificate have no manufacturing or material faults.

You are anyway the holder of the legal warranty of the reseller you bought the product from.

LIFE OF THE WARRANTY

The Dainese warranty is valid for 3 (three) years from the date of purchase of motorbike “protectors” and 5 (five) years from the date of purchase of “motorbike jackets and trousers in GORE-TEX®” with a warranty certificate.

HOW TO ACTIVATE THE WARRANTY

To activate the warranty you have to go to www.dainese.com and register via the dedicated page, within 30 days from purchasing the product. 

If you have already registered, just access your profile on dainese.com.

From your user profile, click on “Conventional Dainese Warranty” and enter all the details about the product you wish to activate the warranty for. You can also upload copy of your purchase receipt. If you do not upload copy of the receipt, remember that you have to keep the original receipt as a proof of purchase if you wish to lodge a complaint about that product.

COVER AND EXCLUSIONS

Dainese warranty covers any type of manufacturing or material fault. 

With regards to this warranty, any non-conformities of the product with your expectations cannot be considered as faults.

The warranty expressly excludes any damages caused by: misuse; normal wear and tear, damages; tampering; incorrect handling of the garment; negligence or carelessness; damages caused by falls and/or accidents or any alteration due to external causes, including any repairs carried out by unauthorized people; damages caused by factors/events outside Dainese’s control; users’ subjective assessments, such as comfort and fit; damages caused by prolonged exposure to light and/or heat sources.

LIMITATIONS

This warranty is limited to products bought only from “authorized” resellers in the country where you live. The warranty will not cover any internet purchases of Dainese products from websites having their registered office in a country other than the one you live in.

HOW TO USE THE WARRANTY

To use the warranty you have to supply Dainese with: 

a) the product your complaint refers to, through any Dainese "authorized" point of sale in the country you live in; 

b) the original purchase receipt;

c) the warranty certificate attached to the product;

Dainese shall check its registration on the dainese.com website within the terms stated by these regulations.

Dainese reserve the right to check on the fault you are complaining about and to carry out any repair or replacement after said check. If, following Dainese’s check, the fault is not considered a manufacturing or material fault, Dainese reserve the right to charge the customer with the check and repair as well as shipping costs.

If Dainese cannot repair or replace the product or parts of it, Dainese will make you an offer, taking into consideration the age of the product, for its replacement with the same one or an equivalent model.
