PERSONAL BLOG - ALISON BRADLEY #6

15 Juni 2010 | Events

All too soon we are back at the Dainese factory in Vicenza. The place it all started just 4 days previously. The bikes are lined back up. A little dirtier, a little more used but each one with a legendary tale of its own to tell. I take a final look around the factory floor trying to mentally photograph the picture. I doubt if I’ll experience anything like this again in my biking career.
Dainese Italian Legendary Tour 2009. 60 bikes maybe, several hundred kilometres, 3 legendary racers, lots of new friendships, 1 breathtaking location and many stories.
The modern definition of a legend? An achievement worthy of inspiring a collection of stories to be handed down through time.  Right, now I think I am beginning to understand this legend thing. So, a collection of stories about an achievement to be handed down?  Easy. That’ll be the Dainese Italian Legendary Tour 2009.

Thanks to Dainese, Ago, Biaggi and Lucchinelli, Moto Morini and Pirelli, the GSS Riding Instructors/Tour Guides and all the other participants. It was an honour and experience to ride with you all. And thanks for giving me the basis of my own motorcycling legend to tell…  :)

PERSONAL BLOG - ALEXANDROS MARINAKIS

05 Oktober 2009 | Events

Aμήν...

Ciao a tutti i bambini di Dainese!
Having spent almost 2 weeks since my return to Greece I can say that they have come back normal pace in my life, after the shocking experience of Italian Legendary Tour 2009.
And of course changed my life after ILT.
1.It has awakened in me wants immigration in Italy and
2.I want to sell my motorcycle (V-Strom 650 Suzuki) and get a DUCATI !!!!!!!!!! any model and so be it.

Basically, the ILT 2009 will remain indelibly etched in my memory, what year they spend.
These approximately 1000 km I wrote the excellent, exquisite Ducati Hypermotard 1100 be filled with magical moments and rich experiences with the best friends I could have such a great ride.
But what left me most was that knew  three living legends: Giacomo Agostini, Marco Lucchinelli e Max Biaggi.

Passing at the second day (although I'm not mistaken) from Cortina to bring the team led by BIG Rodolfo Gulieti, in Canazei, we were in snow.
After the necessary instructions and consultation with the Rodolfo continued and eventually we reached our destination.
This was a dream for me (driving on snow) and I do not think experience can never relive.

Once again a Grazie mille to all of you...

PERSONAL BLOG - JAIME ESTEBAN ROLDAN #2

05 Oktober 2009 | Events

Passo San Pellegrino to Canazei.
Cenar futbolin y a dormir!.

Passo San Pellegrino to Canazei.
Back touches early, but with the uncertainty of not knowing whether or not the route start it, never stopped raining and under these conditions, the enjoyment was lower under the garage and there is Biaggi on the Aprilia RSV4 new engines warming up, finally began the march, adequately equipped for the rain and the cold, we are in four grades, but happy to race on, the route is shorter, with supposedly the best day trip is spoiled by the weather, we stopped at the top of a port's freezing ago, we hesitate to go up will wonder if it will snow to ask if it would rain, and he says no it will not snow ... I light a cigarette in my hand and jajajj starts snowing! turned, and headed for Canazei, a shame but it is very dangerous and hard to keep my hands are frozen and I take every stop to get close to the exhaust pipe and get a little relief.
We eat in the hotel, with nothing to do, I relax in the sauna and Turkish bath, we walked around the pretty village and when we have dinner reception was there, grabbing his keys the great Giacomo Agostini, I run my helmet and a camera, there was waiting with his dandy's pose elegant, yet simple and friendly, answered all our requests with a smile, seeing my shirt Jerez, I spoke in Spanish, his wife is Puerto de Santamaria, Cadiz, and makes me feel privileged, honored to have known him. Dining table football and sleep!

Canazei to Vicenza, I wake up earlier than usual in order of the monitors, there will be my shade and watch a timid ray of sun, a mischievous smile on my face and thought, my last day I have to enjoy! I go into the garage that cold, I do not think Gio good with us, do not see it, I do not come on a bike, we headed to the gas station to refuel, refueling and while I raise my head and Joode, there was mounted on the Brutale Gio well prepared to begin the march, I'm running towards him, to take my picture, with suits and headphones on, I loved serving, yet elegant, gracias.Cambio the F4 and Brutale I get in but not this time the 900 is the 1000 engine it shares with the F4, fantastic bike, beware the front wheel tends to rise in any acceleration, I love, and now it's my favorite for this type of road, next stop and change of bike , want to try a Moto Morini and get it, Lorenzo gave me my monitor is the Corsaro1200, very comfortable, almost almost a tourist if you have protection or front cowl, engine power overflows is a bicilindrico, the first km going well, but reach the tight corners and not whether the state and carrertera semimojada cold or the bike, the question is not transmitted well I do not give me confidence, tends to go out on the corner exit, not I feel comfortable but seeing as I was driving the monitor that is wet and cold state of change asfalto.Nuevo motorcycle, was last day and had to take the Ducati Hypermotard will be my last mount, a good choice for looking for some fun it is very manageable, and the simplest of driving for this type of road, forward position, handlebar height and the leg poscion, give you great confidence in the security front, the changes of direction are fast, only must take some care at the exit of curve, this bike is stretched a bit, the engine is sufficient, but that if a low rattling around too much, the position is comfortable despite this over time starts to hurt you back, which bears the full weight of the body due to the position which requires this bike, not a highway bike, is ideal for a mountain pass, even so my choice would be the Brutale, .... surely stopped for lunch in the afternoon to begin the march toward the final destination, again accompanied us the rain, but we were not tired for many more Pronatura.
Arrival at the store, parked the bikes and we said goodbye with a sad face, a dream for the vast majority of those who were there, was great to share this journey with so many fellow friends that some day I hope to see again, just me is to thank Dainese, never forget these days, memories and greetings to all who share this great experience, was a pleasure, TRULY UNFORGETTABLE! Course I would like to repeat the experience! JAJA THAT QUESTION! BUT I HAVE A FEW FRIENDS THAT THEY ALSO WANT TO SEE THE PICTURES AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE AND TELL!

Saludos y gracias!
